Single-estate Red Typica grown with regenerative farming. Carbonic fermentation + honey process for a floral, bright and elegant cup with a hazelnut finish. Medium-dark omniroast, great for espresso and filter.
Description
Bruma Tropical – El Paraiso comes from a single-estate lot in Los Santos, Costa Rica, at 1,400–1,600 m. This elevation supports steady ripening and clean aromatic definition, keeping a lively, precise cup profile.
Made from Red Typica, it is produced with regenerative agriculture and manual selective picking to focus on peak-ripeness cherries only. The processing is intentionally craft-driven: carbonic fermentation followed by a honey process, then sun + mechanical drying to balance sweetness, clarity and stability.
In the cup, expect a floral profile with bright acidity, an elegant structure and a distinct hazelnut note on the finish. With an 88.56 SCA score, it sits firmly in specialty territory: clean, traceable, and built for nuance rather than heaviness.
Roasted as a medium-dark omniroast, it performs across brew styles. Quick guides: espresso 1:2, ristretto 1:1, lungo 1:3–1:4, filter 1:15–1:18, cold brew 1:5–1:12.
