Terms & Conditions — Buyer
1. Scope
These Terms govern purchases made on Otintiko (multi-seller marketplace) by buyers holding a customer account.
2. Account & information
- Buyer guarantees accurate personal and shipping information.
- Account access is personal and secured.
3. Ordering & payment
- An order is confirmed after successful payment and confirmation e-mail.
- Accepted payment methods are presented at checkout.
4. Order cancellation (before preparation)
Any order not yet prepared can be cancelled automatically by the buyer.
- Go to your account → Return Manager.
- The “Cancel order” button shows only if the parcel status is not: Prepared, Collected or Delivered.
- Select a reason (ordered by mistake, no longer needed, found cheaper, won’t arrive in time, change payment method, other) and accept the conditions.
- Cancellation is instant. You receive two e-mails: request acknowledgement then cancellation confirmation.
5. Refunds & credit slips
- If payment was captured, Otintiko performs a full refund (or partial if applicable) to the original payment method.
- Indicative banking delay: 2–5 business days after notification.
- A credit slip is issued and available under Credit slips in your account.
6. Delivery & tracking
- Delivery terms are displayed at checkout.
- You can track your order from your account; guests may use the dedicated guest tracking link when available.
7. Liability
- Otintiko orchestrates the marketplace and logistics. Sellers remain liable for product descriptions and conformity.
- In case of obvious error (pricing/data), Otintiko may cancel the order and issue a full refund.

9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Costa Rican law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Costa Rican courts.
