Conditions to create a seller account and an E-Benefiko (free and without commitment) — Otintiko

1. Purpose and scope
These terms (the « Creation Terms ») govern only:
- the creation of a seller account, and
- the creation and setup of an E-Benefiko (seller shop and content),
free of charge and without commitment.
They are not subscription terms. The full rules related to the subscription, commissions, and financial operation are provided in a separate document, at the time you purchase a plan from your E-Benefiko interface (menu Plans).
2. Free creation, no payment, no commitment
Creating a seller account and setting up an E-Benefiko is 100% free and requires no payment.
- No obligation to sell.
- No obligation to subscribe.
- No minimum commitment period.
You may stop at any time, at no cost.
3. Permanent rule: 1 account = 1 company
On Otintiko, one company corresponds to one seller account.
In case of duplicates (e.g., multiple emails or accounts for the same company), Otintiko may refuse the request, suspend access, or revoke access to prevent duplicates and non-compliant use.
4. Account owner: responsibility and security
The account holder is the sole party responsible for the use of the account and any action performed through it.
- You must protect your credentials (strong password, do not share access).
- You must keep your information accurate, complete, and up to date.
- You are responsible for any content you publish (texts, images, product information, etc.).
5. Verification, validation, and seller access
To protect the platform and prevent abuse, seller access is subject to verification. Otintiko may request additional information or supporting documents.
Otintiko may accept, refuse, or suspend a request in case of inaccurate, inconsistent, incomplete information, duplicates, or non-compliant use.
6. What you can do during the free creation phase
During the free creation phase, you may prepare your E-Benefiko:
- complete the general setup of your E-Benefiko,
- prepare your content (presentation, visuals),
- register your producers and origins,
- prepare your catalog (create, save, edit),
- enter the information needed for payouts (bank details).
This step is designed to help you build your seller space progressively, with no payment and no commitment.
7. Key point: selling requires an active subscription
Creating a seller account and an E-Benefiko for free does not activate selling.
To activate your E-Benefiko and start selling on Otintiko, you must purchase and activate a subscription plan from your E-Benefiko interface (menu Plans).
8. Content and compliant use
You agree to provide truthful, clear, and non-misleading information and to comply with basic rules of use:
- no fraud, no impersonation, no prohibited content,
- compliance with platform requirements (formats, required fields, consistency),
- respect for third-party rights (e.g., rights to images, trademarks, and content).
Otintiko may request corrections and reject non-compliant content.
9. Service emails (required for operation)
Otintiko may send service emails required to operate the seller service, including:
- account validation,
- security notifications,
- information related to access and setup of your seller space,
- support messages when necessary.
These emails are transactional and necessary to follow your access and activity on the platform.
10. Suspension or revocation of access
Otintiko may suspend or revoke access in case of fraud, abuse, attempts to bypass rules, repeated duplicates, false information, or non-compliant use.
11. Moving to subscription (separate step)
Moving to subscription is done directly from your E-Benefiko interface, in the Plans menu.
At that step, you must:
- review the subscription terms (subscription, commissions, and related rules),
- accept them via a checkbox and a link to the full terms,
- purchase the plan.
12. Personal data
Personal data processing and the use of cookies are described in the Privacy Policy (and cookies).
13. Governing law
These Creation Terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
