Yellow Catuai from Los Santos, 1200–1400 m. Washed with aerobic fermentation and mechanical drying for a clean, consistent cup. Smooth and creamy profile with fruity notes, cocoa, caramel, milky sweetness, sugarcane, dark chocolate and hazelnut.
Description
This Bruma Tropical coffee is a macro-lot of Yellow Catuai grown at 1,200–1,400 m. Macro-lot here means reliability: a specialty profile you can buy again and again with the same taste structure, ideal for everyday brewing.
Cherries are hand-picked and selectively harvested, then processed as a washed coffee with aerobic fermentation to enhance clarity and balance. Mechanical drying helps lock in consistency and reduces weather-driven variability.
In the cup, expect a comforting specialty style: a fruity opening, followed by cocoa/chocolate depth and a gentle milky sweetness. Flavors lean caramelized, chocolatey and smooth, with a creamy, slightly rich, velvety mouthfeel. Key notes: sugarcane, dark chocolate, hazelnut.
With an 85.5 SCA score, it stays firmly in specialty territory while remaining approachable. Medium roast and valve bag packaging keep it versatile and fresh.
Brew guides: filter 1:15 / 1:17 / 1:18, cold brew 1:5 / 1:6–1:8 / 1:12.
